How do I access tickets at member prices?

1. On the online booking page, when you click ‘Buy Now’ you’ll be prompted to sign in if you are a member.

2. Select the ‘Sign in’ link below the show details or the icon on the top right (a person within a red circle).  Enter your member details to log in.

3. Click on your preferred seat and select the member price that appears as an option. Proceed to the checkout.

Are food and drink costs separate to the ticket price?

Yes, Mitch and Bec’s Catering caters for a selection of meals you can order on the night.

During COVID Safe restrictions, table service for drinks orders is provided by our volunteers and bar staff. You’ll have a drinks menu at your table and EFTPOS or cash facilities available as you order.

How late does the kitchen stay open for food orders?

You can order meals until 8:30pm at each of our evening shows. Orders for desserts or cheese platters can be made until 8:45pm.

Does Brisbane Jazz Club have a fully licenced bar?

Yes. We are pleased to offer you a classy new bar with a wide variety of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. During COVID Safe restrictions we’ll bring drinks directly to your table.

Do you have dancing?

When dancing is permitted within the Southeast Queensland COVID Safe restrictions, we have a dance floor on our river deck, with stunning views of Brisbane.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos of the band?

Please check with the duty manager at the show, as this varies depending on the performer.

Can anyone perform at Brisbane Jazz Club?

While we’re always after fresh talent, we do have criteria for musicians who play at our club. That’s how we maintain our world-class performance standard. Artists who would like to play are welcome to enquire via email at [email protected]

Is there parking at Brisbane Jazz Club?

There’s a metred Brisbane City Council car park at the venue with about 20 spaces. If you’re in time to get a spot, you can make use of the free parking after 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

If the car park is full, don’t worry—you’re likely to find street parking near the club unless there’s another big event in the area.

Why do I have to pay $42 when the website says ‘seats from $10’?

Our prices start from $10 for a student with a student ID sitting outside. Prices increase for other categories of tickets as more features are offered.

Why can’t I book more than eight seats inside?

We promote a listening atmosphere as way of respecting and appreciating our talented performers. Large groups inside tend to disturb other patrons. Groups larger than eight are asked to book outside in our marquee.

What is your refund policy?

Since we’re a not-for-profit organisation, tickets are non-refundable. However, we do allow exchanges for another show under certain circumstances.

You can offer your ticket to someone else if you let the office know (to avoid complications on the night). However they may need to pay a top-up if they are not a member, student or concession card holder.

If we cancel an event, you’ll be eligible for a full refund.

Can I change my ticket?

Yes, you can exchange a valid ticket for an alternative show if there are at least 48 hours before the original show starts.

Do you have gift vouchers?

Yes! We might be biased, but we think a Brisbane Jazz Club gift voucher is one of the best gifts you can give.

How old do I need to be to volunteer?

Generally, our volunteers are over 18 years of age, but anyone who is interested and able to help with volunteer tasks is welcome.  We are happy to support high school students completing their volunteer certificate.

What is your COVID policy?

To keep you safe, we have strict COVID Safe protocols and follow government advice closely. If a show is cancelled due to a lockdown, you’ll find updates on our home page, and you’ll be eligible for a full refund.

Do you have family membership options?

Yes. A family membership covers two adults. Children’s tickets will need to be purchased separately. We also accommodate families who hold concession cards, like pensioner couples, and provide concessions for families who live more than 100km from the club.
